simple resolution of alerts sent via email
Currently, if an alert comes in via email while I'm on my mobile, the easiest way to resolve it is wait for the phone call several minutes later. The website that it links to isn't very mobile friendly.
This would be much easier if there either:
* a unique link generate for escalate, suppress, or escalate actions that allowed performed that action with one click
* a mobile/iPhone friendly website that made taking action on an alarm while mobile much easier
Thanks for the suggestion!
We’ll either allow you to take the action by replying to the email, or by clicking a link which takes immediate effect.

Replying to the email that pagerduty sent would be preferable, as not all devices, especially Blackberry's 4.x OS support HTML email. Also, as Erik mentioned, allowing an action by reply would allow for easy integration with other services, such as Pingdom or even my own custom scripts.
Sure, I can use the API for my scripts, but email is just easier and it would be another great option I could use. -

it could be great if we could get a URL in alerts so we can read email that triggered alert without getting online and login to the site. Alert is rather short and you don't know what it is about until you read entire email.

yes this would fix my android (htc hero - android 2.1) problems - currently i click on the link and it says cookies are disabled, but they aren't

This feature should also support the ability to receive an email of particular format that resolves the issue. This would allow Pingdom RECOVERY emails to automatically resolve the issue.

My preference would be for a mobile friendly web site.
