It doesn't make much sense to me why the plans have a limit on the Phone/SMS alerts per month, with a $0.60 overage charge per message. Twilio charges $0.01 per SMS, so I can't see how SMS is costing that much to actually send.

It makes sense to me that you would want users to get completely hooked into the system. If I'm using this system liberally for alerts on a regular basis, then I get so attached to it that I can't leave it. As it is now, you're effectively making me limit what I actually consider worthy of monitoring in PagerDuty vs monitoring elsewhere.

PagerDuty is a great product, I just don't quite get the SMS/Phone charges.
